Imágenes maleables: experimentar el museo con la comunidad de La Pila

Pamela Cevallos Salazar

Abstract

The article focuses on the update of the Museo Histórico y Artesanal La Pila, conceived as a collective creation process that explores the relationships between the community and archaeological heritage through the memories of the craft. Using a methodology that combines ethnographic research with contemporary artistic practices, I reflect on curatorial practice as a mediatory space and examine the role of images in reconfiguring fieldwork.
