Abstract
The article focuses on cultural dynamics generated byp articipatory art processes, which express a political model of social engagement.
Presenting as case studies two interactive projects in Italian areas (Frassineto Po and Casale Monferrato), the author illustrates how participation in public art practice can support civic engagement in local government, with positive results in terms of connectivity, social value, experience of cultural heritage and collective memory.
